OAIC-CTSI Rapid Pilot Grants
The UCLA Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center (OAIC) and the UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) are soliciting applications for the Rapid Pilot Grants Program for aging-related basic, clinical and health services research. Award size will range from $1,000 to $10,000, dependent on scope of work. A "rolling applications process" will be used. Applications will be accepted until the allocated funds for this program have been spent. Please see complete announcement here.
Biodemography Pilot Grant
The USC/UCLA Center for Biodemography and Population Health (CBPH) invites interested investigators to submit proposals for twelve month pilot research projects. Projects will begin on July 1, 2016 and must end on June 30th, 2017.
Research should be relevant to health outcomes that are important in the aging process but is not limited to research on only older samples. The Center has supported pilot work by demographers, epidemiologists, biologists, economists, sociologists, psychologists, and clinical geriatricians and has emphasized interdisciplinary collaborations.
